Meet Pedro! He is a 2 year old, Chihuahua mix that is very sweet and a little shy. His shyness comes out mostly when he walks on a leash, but he is making great progress working with the volunteers. He loves treats and cuddles and is waiting to go to his furever home. *I am currently being treated for Heartworm disease. Heartworm disease is transmitted by mosquitoes and is not contagious to other animals or humans. With some patience and my medications I will be able to rid myself of these pesky parasites. If you will open up your heart and give me a good home, The Humane Society Naples will continue to provide my treatment for free until my tests come back negative.
